Shopper Marketing Senior Analyst


Job Information

The Shopper Marketing Senior Analyst will be responsible for execution of FL marketing programs across our non-enterprise strategic Retail customers. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced, innovative marketing environment to lead the strategic development and execution of shopper marketing plans/partnership programming to drive growth (volume, sales, share) and brand equity with our customers. This experience will develop and showcase the ability to strategically evaluate business opportunities, develop deep consumer empathy to address consumer-based opportunities, and bring them to market to positively impact brand equity, business sales and profitability. Key Accountabilities: • Support marketing agenda for Supermarket accounts • Create sales/customer facing sell decks & playbook communication tools to ensure shopper marketing program execution • Collaborate with brand teams on development of account specific shopper marketing plans inclusive of digital/social/mobile strategies, innovation support and creative retailer traffic driving and brand equity building programs • Develop strong working relationships with both internal teams as well as external customer teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain, finance and operations • Work with agency partners and brand teams to develop and execute promotional and customer specific merchandising programs • Partner with insights and category management teams to analyze and synthesize data in order to inform strategies and support initiative development • Provide detailed analysis of plan results along with recommendations for future plans • Manage team budget Qualifications/Requirements Minimum Qualification: • Undergraduate Degree. Marketing concentration preferred Work Experience: • A minimum of 5 years prior Marketing experience • Prior Shopper Marketing and/or Integrated Brand Marketing experience within consumer packaged goods • Preferred: Prior knowledge and/or Innovation experience Skills/Capabilities: • Proven track record of identifying rich consumer insights and translating them into effective marketing programs and experience using IRI/Nielsen, etc is required • Creative thinking and problem solving skills • Prior P&L experience is preferred • Strong collaboration, project management and influencing skills within a matrix environment • Strong written and oral communications skills required with the ability to partner at all levels of the organization • Must demonstrate professional maturity – ability to manage up/down, strong interpersonal skills for interaction with internal/external senior leaders • Customer experience and/or experience presenting to external organizations • Creative agency management experience, and expertise developing and executing promotions is required
